RESOLUTION 10,454 18
A RESOLUTION MARINO APPOINTMENTS TO THE
NEWLY AUTHORIZED CENTRAL ARKANSAS LIBRARY
SYSTEM BOARD OF TRUSTEES.
WHEREAS, by virtue of Ordinance No. 17,875, passed by
the Board of Directors on November 17, 1998, a public body
corporate and politic was created, to be known as the
Central Arkansas Library System, and Resolution No. 5,850
was repealed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the following named persons are hereby
appointed as members of the newly authorized Central
Arkansas Library System Board of Trustees:
Mr. Sherman Banks,
appointed to serve
a one year term
expiring December
31, 1999.
Ms. Freddie Nixon,
appointed to serve
a one year term
expiring December
31, 1999.
Mr. David Rickard,
appointed to serve
a one year term
expiring December
31, 1999.
Ms. Shirley Pine,
appointed to serve
a two year term
expiring December
31, 2000.
Ms. Judith Faust,
appointed to serve
a two year term
expiring December
31, 2000.
Mr. Jim McHaney, appointed
to serve a
three year term
expiring December
31, 2001.
Dr. J.J. Lacey,Jr.
appointed to serve
a three year term
expiring December
31, 2001.
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
