A RESOLUTION MAKING APPOINTMENTS AND
REAPPOINTMENTS TO THE ARKANSAS ARTS CENTER
BOARD OF TRUSTEES, CITY BEAUTIFUL COMMISSION,
COMMISSION ON DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, CONSTRUCTION
BOARD OF ADJUSTMENTS AND APPEALS, PLANNING
COMMISSION, RACIAL AND CULTURAL DIVERSITY
COMMISSION, RIVERMARKET DESIGN REVIEW
COMMITTEE, AND SISTER CITIES COMMISSION.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the following named persons are hereby
appointed or reappointed as members of the respective Boards
and Commissions:
(a) ARKANSAS ARTS CENTER BD OF TRUSTEES
Mr. John Sloan, appointed to fill the unexpired term of
Mr. John McConnell, said term expiring June 30, 2000.
Ms. Carmelita Smith, appointed to fill the unexpired
term of Mr. Stan Ellington, said term expiring June 30,
2000.
Ms. Olivia Ferrell, appointed to fill the unexpired
term of Mr. John Spivey, said term expiring June 30,
2001.
Mr. Ray Skelton, appointed to serve a three year term,
replacing Mr. Mark Lee, said term expiring June 30,
2002.
(b) CITY BEAUTIFUL COMMSSION
Ms. Karol Zoeller, appointed to serve a three year
term, replacing Ms. Lin Blair, said term expiring
October 19, 2001.
(C) COMMISSION ON DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
Ms. Melissa Moon (Health Care Facility Representative),
appointed to serve a five year term, replacing Ms.
Christine Patterson, said term expiring November 1,
2003.

Mr. Emery Crossland (Registered Electrical Engineer),
appointed. (This Board was created by Ordinance No.
17,779 on July 7, 1998, terms to be established.)
(e) PLANNING
Mr. Obray Nunnerly, reinstated to complete term,
expiring November 1, 2000.
(f) RACIAL AND CULTURAL DIVERSITY COMMISSION
Mr. Victor Wynn (At large), appointed to fill the
unexpired term of Mr. Jonathan Perez, said term
expiring March 3, 2000.
Dr. Pat McGraw (At large), reappointed to serve a three
year term expiring March 3, 2001.
(g) RIVERMARRET DESIGN REVIEW
Mr. Robert East, appointed to fill the unexpired term
of Ms. Shannon Torbett, said term expiring August 6,
2000.
(g) SISTER CITIES COMMISSION
Mr. Leon Matthews, appointed to fill the unexpired term
of Ms. Britt Rice, said term expiring January 1, 2000.
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
