10441M 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 RESOLUTION NO. 10,441:' A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY ATTORNEY TO INSTITUTE CONDEMNATION PROCEEDINGS TO ACQUIRE PROPERTY FOR THE CLINTON PRESIDENTIAL LIBRARY PARK WHICH THE CITY IS UNABLE TO ACQUIRE THROUGH NEGOTIATION MM WHEREAS, the Little Rock Board of Directors has created the Clinton Presidential Library Park to be constructed on approximately 26 acres of land located east of Interstate 30 along the Arkansas River; and WHEREAS, real estate agents for the City and City staff have already negotiated the purchase with Board approval of several tracts identified for the project; and WHEREAS, a few properties within the park district remain to be acquired and, due to time constraints and the failure to reach a negotiated price, it may be necessary to acquire such properties through condemnation. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. The City Attorney is hereby authorized to commence eminent domain proceedings to obtain possession and title to certain tracts of land within the Clinton Presidential Library Park. Location and ownership of the properties are as follows: 1. 1010 East 3rd Street - Dennis and Danny Martindill 2. 1115 East 2nd Street - Eugene M.
