3 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
4 ENTER INTO ROTATION TOWING FRANCHISE
5 CONTRACTS WITH ROUTH WRECKER SERVICE AND
6 ASHER WRECKER SERVICE.

8 WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock currently provides impound services to its citizens; and
9 WHEREAS, the City utilizes the services of towing companies to have vehicles towed as a
10 result of court orders, police holds, accidents or when the owner of the vehicle does not request a
11 certain towing company.
12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
13 CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
14 SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into rotation franchise contracts with
15 Routh Wrecker Service and Asher Wrecker Service.
16 SECTION 2. The City collects a 5% franchise fee for all vehicles towed pursuant to this
17 agreement.
18 SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
