A RESOLUTION APPOINTING WRIGHT, LINDSEY & JENNINGS AS BOND
COUNSEL FOR THE PROPOSED CENTRAL ARKANSAS LIBRARY SYSTEM
CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT REVENUE BOND ISSUE, AND AUTHORIZING
THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN ENGAGEMENT LETTER.
WHEREAS, it is necessary to have bond counsel to work with the City to perform legal work
to assure the issuance of bonds for future Library System Capital Improvement Bond issues; and
WHEREAS, the City requested proposals from qualified law firms to handle this future legal
work; and
WHEREAS, the proposals were reviewed and selected in accordance with City ordinance; and
WHEREAS, the staff has concluded that the firm of Wright, Lindsey & Jennings is the most
qualified to handle this legal work.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: That the firm of Wright, Lindsey & Jennings be appointed to act as bond counsel
to the City of Little Rock in connection with any future proposed Central Arkansas Library System
Capital Improvement Bond Issues.
SECTION 2: The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a Letter of Engagement with
Wright, Lindsey & Jennings.
