A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH GENERAL
CONSTRUCTION SERVICES, INC. FOR THE ASBESTOS
ABATEMENT OF THE OLD LIBRARY AT 700 LOUISIANA
STREET FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF LABOR GRANT
WELFARE -TO -WORK CENTER.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract with General
Construction Services, Inc., the lowest bidder meeting specifications, in an amount not to exceed
$124,273 for the asbestos abatement of the Old Library at 700 Louisiana Street for the Department
of Labor Grant Welfare -to -Work Center.
SECTION 2. Funding for this project is available from Interest Earning account number
303 - BSA -8500.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
