RESOLUTION NO. 10,334
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE A WARRANTY DEED TO TRANSFER A CITY OWNED
VACANT LOT AT 1804 PINE STREET TO MOUNT OLIVE MISSIONARY
BAPTIST CHURCH.
WHEREAS, Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church is a small church which is in close
proximity to the subject property; and
WHEREAS, the church proposes to maintain this weed lot and help control any undesirable
use of the property; and.
WHEREAS, there are no objections to the proposed sale after reasonable notice to the
effected departments; and
WHEREAS, the Church is located in the community where the property is located and can
take responsibility in its community; and
WHEREAS, the purchase is not for profit and the City would no longer be required to
maintain the weed lot.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to execute a warranty deed to
transfer a City owned vacant lot known as 1804 Pine Street located near 18th and Pine for $1 to
Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church. The church will pay seller's and buyer's closing costs to
transfer the property.
