3 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
4 EXECUTE A DEED TO TRANSFER THE EAST ONE -HALF OF LOT 64,
5 BIRCHWOOD ADDITION TO NORMA J. FRISBY IN EXCHANGE FOR A
6 RIGHT -OF -WAY EASEMENT FOR STORM DRAINS.

8 WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock purchased land for drainage control to prevent flooding;
9 and
10 WHEREAS, improvements are now complete and this excess property is not required; and
11 WHEREAS, an agreement was made with Norma Frisby to exchange this land for a right -of-
12 way easement on her land; and
13 WHEREAS, no funds will exchange hands and staff feels the transfer of the lot to the
14 adjacent property owner is in the best interest of the City since the property is not minimum lot size
15 per subdivision regulations.
16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
17 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
18 SECTION 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to execute deeds transferring
19 ownership of excess land to the adjacent land owner, Norma J. Frisby in exchange for a right -of -way
20 easement on her land.
