RESOLUTION NO. 10.331
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE A DEED TO TRANSFER ALL OF LOT 127, BIRCHWOOD
ADDITION TO ERIC HAYWARD AND DONNA HAYWARD IN
EXCHANGE FOR A RIGHT -OF -WAY EASEMENT FOR STORM DRAINS.

WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock purchased land for drainage control to prevent flooding;
and
WHEREAS, improvements are now complete and this excess property is not required; and
WHEREAS, an agreement was made with the Haywards to exchange this land for a right -of-
way easement on their land; and
WHEREAS, no funds will exchange hands and staff feels the transfer of the lot to the
adjacent property owner is in the best interest of the City since the property is not minimum lot size
per subdivision regulations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to execute deeds transferring
ownership of excess land to the adjacent land owners, Eric Hayward and Donna Hayward in
exchange for a right -of -way easement on their land.
