A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE A DEED TO TRANSFER PART OF LOT 29, BLOCK 3,
WESTWOOD ADDITION TO MR HERBERT ASHCRAFT IN EXCHANGE
FOR A RIGHT -OF -WAY EASEMENT.

WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock purchased land for drainage control to prevent flooding;
and
WHEREAS, improvements are now complete and this excess property is not required; and
WHEREAS, Herbert Ashcraft has agreed to take $600 less for his easement than originally
agreed upon in exchange for this parcel; and
WHEREAS, staff feels the transfer of the lot to the adjacent property owner is in the best
interest of the City since the property is not minimum lot size per subdivision regulations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to execute deeds transferring
ownership of excess land to the adjacent land owner, Mr. Herbert Ashcraft, in exchange for a right -
of -way easement on Mr. Ashcraft's property.
