A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF TWO ACRES
OF LAND ON THE ARKANSAS RIVER AT 2ND AND BOND STREETS
FOR PARK LAND.
WHEREAS, as a part of the Master Park Plan, the City wishes this land to remain
'open park land'; and
WHEREAS, the City will utilize this land in the future development along the
River District as a part of the Master Park Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to purchase land located at 2nd
and Bond Street for "Open Park Land" at the negotiated price of $68,750.
SECTION 2. $69,000 for this project is to be transferred from Special Project
Account 210- 230 -8215 into the Parks /Open Space Special Project Account 210 - 230 -0942.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its
adoption.
