A RESOLUTION APPOINTING MORGAN KEEGAN AS LEAD
UNDERWRITER AND WEEMS & COMPANY AS CO -BOND UNDERWRITER
FOR THE PROPOSED $16,000,000 CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
STREET AND DRAINAGE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT REVENUE BONDS;
AND PROVIDING FOR OTHER MATTERS IN CONNECTION WITH THE
ISSUANCE OF THE BONDS.

WHEREAS, in Resolution Number 10,093 the Board of Directors of the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas appointed bond counsel for the Bonds; and
WHEREAS, a professional services selection committee has evaluated the proposals
received to underwrite the bonds and has recommended the firms of Morgan Keegan as lead
underwriter and Weems & Company to serve as co-bond underwriter for the proposed bond
issue.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into an agreement with the firms
of Morgan Keegan as lead underwriter and Weems & Company to serve as co-bond underwriter
for this bond issue.
SECTION 2. The City Finance Director and Bond Counsel are hereby authorized to
submit such documentation as may be required to accomplish the sale of the bonds to the
underwriters if financially feasible. The City Finance Director is further authorized to take such
other actions as are, in his judgement, necessary or appropriate in order to provide for the sale
of the bonds by the underwriters.
