RESOLUTION NO. 10,228
A RESOLUTION TO EXTEND THE AMERICAN'S WITH
DISABILITIES ACT CONSULTANT CONTRACT WITH BLASS,
CHILCOTE, CARTER, GASKIN, BOGART, AND NORCROSS
(NOW GASKIN, HILL, NORCROSS) THROUGH DECEMBER 31,
1998, TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO
SUCH CONTRACT EXTENSION, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City has employed Blass, Chilcote, Carter, Gaskin, Bogart, and Norcross
(BCCGBN), now Gaskin, Hill, and Norcross (GHN), to assist it with complex issues under the
Americans with Disabilities Act; and
WHEREAS, the City will use their services this summer to draft a comprehensive curb cut
plan for ADA compliance; and
WHEREAS, approximately $39,000 of the $47,500 contract expiring March 31, 1998,
remains to pay for the extension of consultant services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into an extension, through December 31,
1998, approved by the City Attorney, with Gaskin, Hill and Norcross (GHN). No additional funding
is required at this time.
