RESOLUTION NO. 10,225
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH FLYNCO, INC. TO
CONSTRUCT THE ZOO AMPHITHEATRE FOR THE PARKS
AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT.
WHEREAS, staff from Parks, the Zoo, and Friends of the Zoo have worked with nationally
recognized zoo consultants in preparation of the Zoo's Redevelopment and Marketing Plans; and
WHEREAS, projects were established and strategies developed to implement both plans to
accomplish their greatest potential; and
WHEREAS, various fix -up and paint -up projects along with new and renovated exhibits have
been completed the last year.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract with Flynco, Inc., in an
amount not to exceed $453,227.65 to construct the Zoo Amphitheatre for the Parks and Recreation
Department.
SECTION 2. Funding for this project is available from the 1995 Bond issue.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in fill force and effect from and after its adoption.
