102201 RESOLUTION NO. 10.220 130 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO SET A PUBLIC HEARING ON 4 WHETHER TO ADOPT AN ORDINANCE TO ISSUE PARKS 5 & RECREATION REVENUE BONDS IN AN AMOUNT NOT 6 TO EXCEED $16.5 MILLION; AND FOR OTHER 7 PURPOSES. a 9 WHEREAS, the City has previously decided to fund certain improvements at the Little 10 Rock Zoo, its municipal golf courses, and at other parks locations over which it has control, and 11 to purchase additional park lands for the Clinton Presidential Park, and 12 WHEREAS, the best estimates and appraisals suggest that bonds in an amount not to 13 exceed $16,500,000 is the appropriate amount to authorize by ordinance, and 14 WHEREAS, it is required that a public hearing to discuss the issuance of these revenue 15 bonds be held and to consider any objections and suggestions that may be offered, 16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF 17 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: 18 SECTION 1. A public hearing on the question of the adoption of an ordinance to 19 authorize the issuance of revenue bonds in an amount not to exceed $16,500,000 in principal 20 amount of City of Little Rock, Arkansas Capital Improvement Revenue Bonds (Park and 21 Recreation Projects), Series 1998A, under the authority of Title 14, Chapter 164, Subchapter 4 of 22 the Arkansas Code shall be held on Tuesday, March 17, 1998, at 6:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter 23 as can be held on the regular call of the Board of Directors agenda, at Room 102 of Robinson 24 Auditorium, Little Rock, Arkansas. At such hearing all objections and suggestions will be heard 25 and considered so the Board of Directors can take such action on these bonds as it deems proper. 26 SECTION 2.
