A RESOLUTION TO AMEND LITTLE ROCK, ARK.
RESOLUTION NO. 10,165 (DECEMBER 16, 1997)
TO PERMIT THE WATER COMMISSION TO KEEP
CERTAIN RENTAL REVENUES USED FOR THE
OPERATION ITS FACILITIES; AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City has adopted a policy to deal with revenues
realized from the sale or rental of certain properties held in the name of the
City, and
13 WHEREAS, the Board has concluded that certain monies realized by
14 the Little Rock Water Works Commission, such as the revenues from the
15 rentals at Lake Maumelle, should remain with the Commission to defray the
16 cost of operating facilities like the marinas and the lake,
17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
18 DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
19 Section 1. Section 4 of Little Rock, Arkansas, Resolution 10,165
20 (December 16, 1997) is hereby amended to add the following:
21 (c) This policy shall not apply to reveues received
22 by the Little Rock Water Works Commission for
23 rentals if those monies are directly used to operate
24 and maintain the facilities from which the rentals
25 are received; for example, the rentals at the marinas
26 on Lake Maumelle to the extent that such monies
27 are necessary for the operation and maintenance of
28 the lake for such items as trash pickup, ranger
29 patrol, equipment and facility repair.
30 Section 2. SeverabRity. In the event any title, subtitle, section,
31 subsection, subdivision, paragraph, subparagraph, item, sentence, clause,
32 phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or

unconstitutional, Wh declaration or adjudicat4k shall not affect the
remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional
was not originally a part of this resolution.
Section 3. Repealer. All laws and parts of laws in conflict with this
resolution are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
