A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH THE PICKERING FIRM
FOR THE DESIGN OF AN IRRIGATION SYSTEM ON
HINDMAN GOLF COURSE.

WHEREAS, Hindman Golf Course is an eighteen hole golf course that has hosted a pro -am
tournament when it originally opened; and
WHEREAS, today it attracts numerous rounds and hosts several local tournaments for those
looking for a challenging course; and
WHEREAS, the turf lacks the quality that golfers have come to expect in a good golf course;
and
WHEREAS, an irrigation system would accommodate these expectations and increase the
number of rounds played on this course.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract for design of an
irrigation system on Hindman Golf Course with the Pickering Firm.
SECTION 2. Funds will be available with the issuance of future Revenue Bonds. Funds will
be "borrowed" from existing operating accounts.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
