A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE OF HEARING ON THE PETITION
TO ABANDON THE EAST ONE -HALF OF TULIP STREET, ROSE STREET,
LILY STREET, PANSY STREET, DAISY STREET AND MAY STREET AND
FIVE ALLEYS PARALLEL THERETO; AND ALL OF POPLAR AVENUE,
HICKORY AVENUE, BEACH AVENUE, HOLLY AVENUE AND BIRCH
AVENUE, ALL IN PULASKI HIGHLANDS SUBURBAN ADDITION TO
LITTLE ROCK.

WHEREAS, a Petition was duly filed with the Board of Directors of the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas, on the 13 t Way of November, 1997, asking the Board of Directors to vacate
and abandon the street and alley rights -of -way for the East one -half of Tulip Street, Rose Street,
Lily Street, Pansy Street, Daisy Street and May Street and five alleys parallel thereto; and all
of Poplar Avenue, Hickory Avenue, Beach Avenue, Holly Avenue and Birch Avenue, which
rights -of -way were offered for dedication to the public by a plat filed of record on April 15,
1912 in Plat Book 1, Sheet 179, in the Office of the Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas, to
create the Pulaski Highlands Suburban Addition to Little Rock, Arkansas.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The hearing on said petition shall be held at the meeting of the Board of
Directors in the City Hall at 6:00 o'clock P.M. on the 16th day of December, 1997.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in the
manner prescribed by law by publication once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a
newspaper published in Pulaski County, Arkansas, and having general circulation in the
City of Little Rock.
