A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO EXTEND THE CONTRACT WITH DELTA DENTAL
PLAN OF ARKANSAS FOR DENTAL COVERAGE FOR
CITY EMPLOYEES FOR A PERIOD OF ONE YEAR
EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 1998.

WHEREAS, Delta Dental Plan of Arkansas has provided dental insurance coverage to
City of Little Rock employees since its inception; and
WHEREAS, Delta Dental submitted a renewal proposal for coverage effective January
1, 1998.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to extend the contract with Delta Dental
Plan of Arkansas for Delta Dental insurance coverage for City employees for a twelve month
period beginning January 1, 1998.
SECTION 2. Funding for this project has been included in the proposed 1998 budget.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
