A RESOLUTION APPOINTING UNDERWRITERS FOR THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS PARKING SYSTEM
REVENUE BONDS, SERIES 1997.
WHEREAS, in Resolution Number 9,959 the Board of Directors of the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas appointed bond counsel for the Bonds; and
WHEREAS, a professional services selection committee has evaluated the proposals
received to underwrite the bonds and has recommended the firm of T. J. Raney/Morgan Keegan
to serve as underwriters.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into an agreement with the firm
of T. J. Raney/Morgan Keegan to serve as underwriters for the bond issue.
SECTION 2. The City Finance Director and bond counsel are hereby authorized to
submit such documentation as may be required to accomplish the sale of the bonds to the
underwriters. The Finance Director is further authorized to take such other actions as are, in
his judgement, necessary or appropriate in order to provide for the sale of the bonds by the
underwriters, subject to final approval by the Board of Directors.
