A RESOLUTION OF SUPPORT BY THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK FOR THE EFFORTS OF THE CENTRAL LITTLE
ROCK CDC AND LISC TO REDEVELOP WESTSIDE
JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

WHEREAS, the Westside Junior High school facility is a unique and historic structure; and
WHEREAS, a team comprised of the Central Little Rock CDC and LISC have combined to
outline a program and operational budget to purchase, rehabilitate and use this structure; and
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock is encouraged by this effort.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Board of Directors expresses its support for the efforts of the Central
Little Rock CDC and LISC to continue to explore and implement programs that will preserve the
Westside Junior High School building in a manner that will enhance the economic, social and historic
character of an existing central city neighborhood.
