3 A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE OF HEARING ON
4 THE PETITION TO VACATE AND CLOSE PORTIONS OF
VALENTINE AND "I" STREETS AT THEIR INTERSECTION
5 IN EAST PULASKI HEIGHTS ADDITION IN THE CITY OF
6 LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.

8 WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the Board of Directors of the City of Little
9 Rock, Arkansas on the 15th day of August, 1997, asking the Board to vacate and abandon the
10 East half of the right -of -way of Valentine Street North of its intersection with "I" Street, and
also a portion of the North right -of -way of "I" Street East of its intersection with Valentine

12 Street, and reserving certain easements, in Block 6, East Pulaski Heights Addition now
13 appearing of record in Plat Book 76, Page 452, in the office of the Recorder of Pulaski County,
Arkansas.

15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
16 OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
17 SECTION 1. The hearing on said petition shall be held at the meeting of the Board
18 of Directors on the 16th day of September, 1997.
19 SECTION 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in the
20 manner prescribed by law by publication once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a
21 newspaper published in Pulaski County, Arkansas, and having general circulation in the City
of Little Rock.
