A RESOLUTION RESCINDING THE LITTLE ROCK
PLANNING COMMISSION'S ACTION IN APPROVING
A SPECIAL USE PERMIT FOR A DAY CARE FAMILY
HOME (MAXIMUM OF 10 CHILDREN) LOCATED AT
2920 ROMINE ROAD (Z- 6301).
WHEREAS, an application was filed, by Johnny and Frances
Stanfield, with the Little Rock Planning Commission for a special
use permit to allow for a day care family home on R -2 zoned
property located at 2920 Romine Road; and,
WHEREAS, the Little Rock Planning Commission, at its May 15,
1997 meeting, approved the application with certain conditions
and restrictions; and
WHEREAS, the Little Rock Board of Directors has determined
the action to be inappropriate.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
OF
SECTION 1. The action of the Little Rock Planning
Commission in approving an application for a special use permit
to allow a day care family home located at 2920 Romine Road is
hereby rescinded.
SECTION 2. Said special use permit application is hereby
denied.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
