A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK TO EXECUTE THE NECESSARY DOCUMENTS TO
ADJUST THE PROPERTY BOUNDARY DESCRIPTION IN
THE WAR MEMORIAL STADIUM LEASE.

WHEREAS, a recent survey has revealed that the current boundary compromises stadium
expansion capabilities; and
WHEREAS, staff has worked in cooperation with Stadium Commission representatives to
identify a new configuration that is the same area, allows stadium expansion, and reduces conflicts
with future Zoo expansion.
WHEREAS, a strategy plan that addresses operations and marketing for the Zoo has also been
prepared to support this plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to prepare the necessary documents
to adjust the boundary description for War Memorial Stadium.
