A RESOLUTION APPOINTING DALE NICHOLSON AND JACK
FLEISCHAUER, JR. AS COMMISSIONERS OF METROCENTRE
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 1 OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, Metrocentre Improvement District No. 1 of the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas, organized pursuant to the authority of Act 162 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of the State of Arkansas for the year 1973 ( "Act 162 "), was created by Little Rock,
Ark., Ordinance No. 12,849 (October 16, 1973); and
WHEREAS, Mr. Ed Penick and Mr. Dan Phillips, the two remaining, original
Metrocentre Commissioners, have resigned as Commissioners; and
WHEREAS, Section 11 of said Act 162 provides that vacancies of Commissioners
shall be filled by appointment of the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. It is hereby determined that there exists two vacancies on the Board of
Commissioners of Metrocentre Improvement District No. 1 of the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas, by virtue of the resignation therefrom of Mr. Ed Penick and Mr. Dan Phillips, who
were appointed to said office.
SECTION 2. Mr. Dale Nicholson and Mr. Jack Fleischauer, Jr., persons meeting the
requirements of said Act 162, are hereby appointed as members of the Board of
Commissioners of Metrocentre Improvement District No. 1 of the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas.
