9982• • 1 RESOLUTION NO. 9-982 217 2 3 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO 4 ENTER INTO CONTRACTS WITH 15 ORGANIZATIONS FOR 5 SUMMER YOUTH PROGRAM SERVICES IN AN AMOUNT NOT 6 TO EXCEED A TOTAL OF $200,000; AND FOR OTHER 7 PURPOSES. 8 9 WHEREAS, Providers for summer youth program services were solicited through a Request 10 for Proposals bid process; and 11 WHEREAS, a Selection Committee reviewed the responses received, determined the lowest 12 responsible bidders, and recommends 15 providers for contract awards. 13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE 14 CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: 15 SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into contracts, subject to negotiation by 16 the City Attorney, for a total of $193,369, with: 17 18 1. Youth Leadership Institute ($5,531) 19 2. Cornerstone Project ($12,688) 20 3. Centers for Youth and Families ($12,875) 21 4. Barrow Neighborhood Assn ($14,009) 22 5. L.O.V.E.($14,209) 23 6. LR Parks - Summer Playground Program ($14,457) 24 7. LRSD - CVSS Alert Center ($14,719) 25 8. Shepherd's Ranch ($14,985) 26 9. Gaines St. Center ($14,995) 27 10. Camp Aldersgate ($15,000) 28 H. Tomberline CDC ($15,000) 29 12. LRSD - Training Center ($15,000) 30 13. Watershed, Inc. ($15,000) 31 14. Catherine's House ($15,000) 32 33 The term of the contracts shall be from May 15, 1997, through August 31, 1997. 34 SECTION 2. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract, subject to negotiation 35 by the City Attorney, with Anderson's Taekwondo for the remainder of the $200,000 available, or 36 $6,631.00.
