A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SUBMISSION OFTHE 1997
ACTION PLAN TO THE DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN
DEVELOPMENT (HUD).
WHEREAS, the 1997 Action Plan was presented to and approved by the 1997
Consolidated Planning Committee; and
WHEREAS, the Annual Update has undergone the required 30 day comment period giving
the public every opportunity to review and comment on the contents of the 1997 Action plan; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was conducted on March 18, 1997 on the projected use of
funding to receive additional comments, and
WHEREAS, the 1997 Action Plan includes the applications for funding of the City's CDBG,
HOME, and ESG entitlements which is a requirement to find the 1997 program year effective July
1, 1997.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to submit the 1997 Action Plan to the
Department of Housing and Urban Development.
SECTION 2. The projected use funds were approved by adoption of Little Rock, Ark.,
Resolution No. 9,939 (March 18, 1997).
