A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
ACCEPT BIDS AND AWARD A CONTRACT TO TOWNSHIP
BUILDERS, INC. FOR CONSTRUCTION OF
IMPROVEMENTS TO VALLEY DRIVE FRONT VALLEY
DRIVE WEST TO CHICOT ROAD, A 1988 CAPITAL
IMPROVEMENT BOND PROJECT.
WHEREAS, this project will widen the existing street to 31 feet with curb and gutter,
sidewalks, underground storm drainage facilities, and outfall drainage relief.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED 13V THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to accept bids and award a contract to
Township Builders, Inc., the lowest bidder meeting specifications, in an amount not to exceed
$594,266 ($540,242 + 10% contingency) for construction improvements to Valley Drive from Valley
Drive West to Chicot Road, a 1988 Capital Improvement Bond Project.
SECTION 2. Funding for this project is available in account number 301- 220 -0061.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
