A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
ACCEPT BIDS AND AWARD A CONTRACT TO ALESSI
KEYES FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A FUEL STATION AND
EQUIPMENT WASH AT THE SOLID WASTE FACILITY.
WHEREAS, the fuel station provides on -site refueling for more efficient operation of our
solid waste collection and disposal system; and
WHEREAS, the equipment wash allows for retention on -site of mud from equipment and
prevention of silt flow into natural water flows in accordance with effective management.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to accept bids and award a contract to Alessi
Keyes, the low bidder meeting specifications, in an amount not to exceed $817,038 ($742,762 +
10% contingency) for construction ofa fuel station and equipment wash at the Solid Waste Facility.
SECTION 2. Funding for this project is available in the Solid Waste Revenue Bond Fund.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in frill force and effect from and after its adoption.
