A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH PULASKI COUNTY FOR
AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $160,000 FOR OUR CLUB
PROGRAM SERVICES , AUTHORIZING TWO ADDITIONAL
ONE YEAR TERMS AT THE SOLE OPTION OF THE CITY,
AND SUBJECT TO APPROPRIATION; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, Little Rock, Ark. Ordinance No. 17,336
(December 17, 1996) appropriated $160,000 for Our Club
services and
WHEREAS, providers were solicited through a competitive
bid process for Our Club or similar services ; and
WHEREAS, a Selection Committee recommends Pulaski County
for a contract award for Our Club Programs at five sites in
the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into
a contract with Pulaski County for Our Club services at
Watershed, Inc., Thrasher Boys Club, Step -Up Center, Granite
Mountain /Greater Friendship, and Pankey, in an amount not to
exceed $160,000. The site locations may be changed upon
mutual agreement between the County and the City. The initial
term of the contract shall be for one year. Said contract
shall contain a provision for two one -year extensions, at the
sole option of the city, and subject to appropriation.
