4 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY

6 MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH
7 RUSSELL CHEVROLET FOR THE PURCHASE OF
8 THREE (3) 3/4 TON PICKUPS UNDER THE STATE

10 CONTRACT FOR GENERAL SERVICES AND
11 PARKS AND RECREATION PURSUANT TO

13 RESOLUTION NO. 8,557 (AUGUST 20, 1991).

15 WHEREAS, the specifications developed by the State of Arkansas meet the
16
17 fimctional needs of the City; and
18 WHEREAS, the purchase of these non- specialized vehicles from the State
19
Contract will be more cost efficient than the 1996 acquisitions which were purchased
20
21 from the fonnal bid process.
22 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
23
24 DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
25 SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract with
26 Russell Chevrolet for the purchase of three (3) 3/4 ton pickups in the amount of
27
28 $51,828.33.
29 SECTION 2. Funds for this purchase are to be allocated from account number
30 600 - 360 - 6020 - 6021 -7060.

32 SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its
33 adoption.
