A RESOLUTION CREATING THE LITTLE
ROCK RIVERFRONT LANDING COMMITTEE
AND NAMING JEFF SHARP AS THE CHAIR,
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, has announced
an intention to develop a landing near the Julius Breckling
Riverfront Park, and to that end has created a committee to
oversee the development of this project; and
WHEREAS, Director Jeff Sharp has been involved in this
effort since its inception and, further, has shown a special
awareness of the types of issues that would arise in the
development of such an area through his tenure as a hotel
manager, a members of the Arkansas Hospitality Association, a
member of the Little Rock Advertising & Promotion Commission,
and a member of the Little Rock Board of Directors.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. A committee is hereby created that will be known
as the Little Rock Riverfront Landing Committee that will
create plans to develop a marina and a landing at or near the
Julius Breckling Riverfront Park.
SECTION 2. The Board of Directors of the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas, appoints Jeff Sharp as chair of the Little Rock
Riverfront Landing Committee.
SECTION 3. A report will be made to the Board of Directors
within thirty (30) days to name members of the Committee and
terms of office.
