9875M � M 755 1 RESOLUTION NO. 9,875 2 A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE DEDICATION OF RIGHT - 3 OF -WAY OF A PREVIOUSLY CLOSED PORTION OF FERRY 4 STREET; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. 5 6 WHEREAS, In 1964, Ordinance No. 11,451 in Book 863, Page 38, closed a portion of 7 Ferry Street which abuts the Property; and 8 9 WHEREAS, this portion of Ferry Street has never actually been abandoned and has been 10 used by the public and maintained by the City over the years; and 11 WHEREAS, in order to obtain a building permit for the Kramer School Project this section 12 of street must be reopened; and 13 WHEREAS, the half of the street closest to the Property is owned by the City while the other 14 half is owned by Inn Towne Partners, Ltd; and 15 16 WHEREAS, the current owners of this section of Ferry Street, Inn Towne Partners, Ltd. 17 have executed a Quitclaim Right -of -Way Deed to the City of Little Rock, a copy of which is attached 18 hereto. 19 NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF 20 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: 21 SECTION 1: That the City accepts the Quitclaim Right -of -Way Deed executed by Inn 22 23 Towne Partners, Ltd., and reopens the previously closed section of Ferry Street. 24 ADOPTED: December 17, 1996 25 ATTEST: APPROVED: ! � � APPROVED: 26 �Xi.�as( //! 27 ROBBIE HANC CK Ji DAILEV 28 CITY CLERK MAYOR 29 30 APPROVED AS TO FORM: 31 tm'/, C 32 THOMAS M.
