RESOLUTION NO. 9,849
A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE OF HEARING ON THE
PETITION TO ABANDON A PORTION OF RIGHT -OF -WAY OF
RIVERFRONT DRIVE AT JESSIE ROAD IN THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the Board of
Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the 12th
day of November. 1996, asking the Board of Directors to
vacate and abandon a portion of right -of -way described as
follows:
A portion of Riverfront Drive at Jessie Road and
north of and adjacent to the Little Rock Western
Railroad right -of -way in the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The hearing on said petition shall be held
at the meeting of the Board of Directors in the City Hall at
6:00 o'clock P.M. on the 17th day of December , 1996 .
SECTION 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give
notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed by law by
publication once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a
newspaper published in Pulaski County, Arkansas, and having
general circulation in the City of Little Rock.
