A RESOLUTION MAKING APPOINTMENTS AND
REAPPOINTMENTS TO ARKANSAS MUSEUM OF
SCIENCE AND HISTORY BOARD OF TRUSTEES,.
BOARD OF ELECTRICAL CODE APPEALS,
CENTRAL ARKANSAS TRANSIT AUTHORITY,
COMMUNITY POLICING ADVISORY COUNCIL,
CENTRAL ARKANSAS LIBRARY SYSTEM BOARD OF
TRUSTEES, CITY BEAUTIFUL COMMISSION,
COMMISSION ON DOMESTIC VIOLENCE,
EDUCATION COMMISSION, MACARTHUR MILITARY
HISTORY MUSEUM COMMISSION, RACIAL &
CULTURAL DIVERSITY COMMISSION, AND
SISTER CITIES COMMISSION.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The following named persons are hereby
appointed or reappointed as members of the respective Boards
and Commissions:
(a) ARKANSAS MUSEUM OF SCIENCE AND HISTORY BOARD OF
TRUSTEES
Dr. Ashvin Vibhakar, appointed to serve a three year
term replacing Mr. Robert Cabe, said term expiring
December 31, 1999.
Mr. Jesse Rancifer, appointed to serve a three year
term replacing Mr. Don Steely, said term expiring
December 31, 1999.
Mr. William Sowell, IV, appointed to serve a three year
term replacing Mr. Tom Wittenberg, said term expiring
December 31, 1999.
(b) BOARD OF ELECTRICAL CODE APPEALS
Mr. Egbert M. Jones (Elec. Eng..l), appointed to serve
a three year term replacing Mr. Lonnie Buie, Jr., said
term expiring November 25, 1999.
Mr. Philip Hargrave (Elec. Eng.), appointed to serve a
three year term replacing Mr. Brode Morgan, said term
expiring November 25, 1999.

Ms. Dottie Funk (Atlarge), appointed to serve a three
year term, replacing Mr. Joe Robbins, III, said term
expiring October 19, 1999.
Mr. David Roberts (Landscape Architect), appointed to
serve a three year term, replacing Mr. William Steve
Cato, said term expiring October 19, 1999.
(g) COMISSION ON DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
Ms. Barbara Niess (Atlarge), appointed to serve a five
year term, replacing Ms. Sandra Hochstetter, said term
expiring November 1, 2001.
(h) EDUCATION COMISSION
Ms. Kay Patton (Private School Representative),
appointed to fill the unexpired term of Ms. Stacey
Williams, said term expiring November 1, 1997.
Mr. Hubert Barksdale (Chamber of Commerce Rep.),
appointed to fill the unexpired term of Ms. Paula
Patterson, said term expiring November 1, 1998.
Jesse Mason, Jr. (City Director Rep.), reappointed to
serve a three year term, expiring November 1, 1999.

unexpired term of Mr. Johnny Mitchum, said term
expiring September 6, 1999.

The following individuals are reappointed to serve a
five year term expiring January 5, 2002:
