A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE OF HEARING ON THE
PETITION TO VACATE AND CLOSE A PORTION OF WALNUT
STREET BETWEEN KAVANAUGH AND WOODLAWN STREETS IN
PULASKI HEIGHTS ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the Board of
Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the 30th
day of September, 1996, asking the Board of Directors to
vacate and abandon a portion of Walnut Street between
Kavanaugh and Woodlawn Streets in Block 16 of Pulaski
Heights Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, as
designated on the plat of said Addition now appearing of
record in Plat Book 75, Page 213, in the Office of the
Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas, subject, however, to
an easement for public utilities and drainage.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The hearing on said Petition shall be held
at the meeting of the Board of Directors in the City Hall at
4:00 o'clock P.M. on the 7th. day of November, 1996.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give
notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed by law by
publication once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a
newspaper published in Pulaski County, Arkansas, and having
general circulation in the City of Little Rock.
