5 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY
6 MANAGER TO DESIGNATE CERTAIN CITY
7 EMPLOYEES TO EXECUTE CHANGE ORDERS
8 OR SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENTS ON
9 CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS ADMINISTERED
10 BY THE ARKANSAS . HIGHWAY AND
11 TRANSPORTATION DEPARTMENT.

13 WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock cooperates with the
14 Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department in utilizing
15 city, federal and state funds on various projects of benefit to
16 the city; and
17 WHEREAS, it is sometimes necessary to alter the contract by
18 change orders or supplemental agreements after work has begun;
19 and
20 WHEREAS, it is deemed to be in the city's interest to
21 authorize certain employees to execute such change orders or
22 supplemental agreements with the Arkansas State Highway and
23 Transportation Department.
24 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
25 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
26 SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to designate such
27 city employees as he deems appropriate to alter the cost or
28 scope of contracts through appropriate change orders or
29 supplemental agreements.
30 SECTION 2. Such authority shall extend to those projects
31 and for that time period that the City Manager may determine.
32 SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and
33 effect from and after its adoption and approval.
