A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO ACCEPT BIDS AND AWARD A
CONTRACT TO J.A. RIGGS TRACTOR
COMPANY FOR AN 80,000 POUND LANDFILL
COMPACTOR FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS
DEPARTMENT.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager'is authorized to accept bids
and award a contract to J.A. Riggs Tractor Company of Little
Rock, Arkansas, the low bidder meeting specifications, in an
amount not to exceed $366,178 for an 80,000 pound landfill
compactor for the Public Works Department.
SECTION 2. Funds are available for this purpose in account
number 603 - 220 - 2110 -7040.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
