9791M r 559 1 2 RESOLUTION NO. 9,791 3 4 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY 5 MANAGER TO AWARD CONTRACTS FOR 6 PREVENTION, INTERVENTION, AND 7 TREATMENT PROGRAMS. 8 9 WHEREAS, the 1996 Budget Ordinance included an 10 appropriation of $2,500,000 for FUTURE - Little Rock recommended 11 prevention, intervention and treatment program initiatives. 12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF 13 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: 14 SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to award 15 the following contracts for prevention, intervention and 16 treatment programs: 17 18 1. Prosecuting Attorney $33,448 19 2. Boy Scouts (Quapaw Area) $35,956 20 3. Joseph Pfeifer Camp $40,000 21 4. Greater Friendship $43,138 22 5. Girl Scouts $45,225 23 6. Big Brothers /Big Sisters $475,336 24 7. Sunset Terrace /Amelia Ives $46,853 25 8. Watershed $49,101 26 9. Philander Smith (Brother to 27 Brother Program) $49,386 28 10. Shepherd's Ranch $49,475 29 11. Arkansas Arts Center $49,586 30 12. Umoja Studio $50,000 31 13. Tomberlin CDC $50.000 32 $587,504 33 34 SECTION 2. The City intends to contract for a sixteen month 35 period (September, 1996 - December, 1997).
