A RESOLUTION MAKING APPOINTMENTS AND
REAPPOINTMENTS TO ARKANSAS ARTS CENTER
BOARD OF TRUSTEES, EDUCATION COMMISSION,
AND RACIAL AND CULTURAL DIVERSITY
COMMISSION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The following named persons are hereby
appointed or reappointed as members of the respective Boards
and Commissions:
(8) ARKANSAS ART CENTER BOARD OF TRUSTEES
The following individuals are hereby reappointed to
four year terms expiring June 30, 2000:
Ms. Gayle Corley
Mr. George O'Connor
Mr. W. Jackson Williams
Mr. Robert Shults, appointed to a four year term,
replacing Mr. James H. Atkins, said term expiring June
30, 2000.
Mr. John W. McConnell, appointed to a four year term,
replacing Mr. Curt Bradbury, said term expiring June
30, 2000.
Mr. Stan Ellington, appointed to a four year term,
replacing Mr. Doug Buford, said term expiring June 30,
2000.
Ms. Barbara Pryor, appointed to a four year term,
replacing Ms. Pat Gray, said term expiring June 30,
2000.
(b) EDUCATION COMMISSION
Dr. Robin Jeffers Perry (Parent Teachers Association
Representative), appointed to a three year term
expiring November 1, 1999 (plus the remaining three
months of Debbie Glasgow's unexpired term).

RACIAL 6 CULTURAL DIVERSITY COMMISSION
Mr. John Land (Ward 5), appointed to a three year term,
replacing Mr. Mike Meitzenheimer, said term expiring
September 6, 1999.
Ms. Betty Lou Hamlin (Mayors' appointee), appointed to
a three year term, replacing Ms. Catherine Cockrill,
said term expiring September 6, 1999.
Ms. Phyllis Haynes, (Mayors' appointee), appointed to
fill the unexpired term of Ms. Shirley Pleasant, said
term expiring September 6, 1997.
Mr. Maurice Rigsby (At- large), appointed to a three
year term replacing Mr. Jack Gilbert, said expiring
September 6, 1999.
SECTION Z. This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
