A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO ALLOCATE FUNDS FROM THE
1995 CAPITAL IXPROVEMENT BOND FUND
FOR CONSULTANT SERVICES FOR THE
LITTLE ROCK ZOO.
WHEREAS, recommitment and thoughtful planning have been
ongoing for the Zoo since the beginning of the year; and
WHEREAS, Friends of the Zoo and City staff have dedicated
themselves to strengthen and elevate the Zoo to a first rate
zoological facility; and
WHEREAS, early action projects are being identified and
additional funds will be required to implement these plans
before the end of the year.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to allocate
$100,000 from the 1995 Capital Improvement Bond Fund to extend
preparation of the master plan and marketing plan for the Little
Rock Zoo.
SECTION 2. This resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
