A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY
NANAGER TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT
WITH TOWNSHIP BUILDERS FOR
CONSTRUCTION OF A CONCRETE DRAINAGE
CHANNEL BETWEEN ASCENSION ROAD AND
WESTERN HILLS AVENUE, A 1995 CAPITAL
IMPROVEliENT BOND PROJECT.
WHEREAS, this contract is for construction of a concrete
drainage channel between Ascension Road and Western Hills Avenue
to reduce area flooding.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a
contract with Township Builders, the most qualified bidder
meeting specifications, in an amount not to exceed $571,375
($519,432 plus 10% contingency) for construction of a concrete
drainage channel between Ascension Road and Western Hills
Avenue, a 1995 capital improvement bond project.
SECTION 2. Funds are available for this purpose in account
number 303 - 220 -0393.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
