A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO ACCEPT BIDS AND AWARD A
CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHASE OF A ONE
TON CHASSIS WITH UTILITY BODY AND A
ONE TON CHASSIS WITH AERIAT, UNIT FOR
THE DEPARTMENT OF GENERAL SERVICES.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to accept bids
and award a contract to Landers Olds GMC of Benton, Arkansas,
the low bidder meeting specifications, in an amount not to
exceed $26,606 for the purchase of one (1) 1 ton chassis with
utility body and Combatel Distribution, the low bidder meeting
specifications, in an amount not to exceed $50,822 for the
purchase of one (1) heavy duty one ton chassis with aerial unit
for the Department of General Services.
SECTION 2. Funds for this purpose are allocated from
account number 600 - 360 - 6020- 6021 -7060.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
