A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT FOR
CONSTRUCTION OF A PAVILION AT
HINDMAN PARR.
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Department designed the
pavilion in house to save costs and ensure a quality design;
and
WHEREAS, in house development crews will work to prepare
the site; and
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Department has worked
with the Meadowcliff- Brookwood Neighborhood Association to
develop a plan and strategy for Hindman Park; and
WHEREAS, the pavilion is one component of this plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a
contract with Saine Construction of Little Rock, Arkansas, the
low bidder meeting specifications, in an amount not to exceed
$32,500 for construction of a pavilion at Hindman Park.
SECTION 2. Funding for this purpose is available in account
number 303 - 230 - 0407 -8010.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
