• RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE
• M]WORANDUN OF AGREEI4MM BETWEEN THE U.S.
DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT
(HUD), THE CITIES OF LITTLE ROCK AND NORTH
LITTLE ROCK, PULASKI COUNTY, AND THE PULASKI
COUNTY ENTERPRISE COMMUNITY ALLIANCE.
WHEREAS, the City has participated in a process that
designates the area as an enterprise community alliance in
cooperation with North Little Rock, Pulaski County, and the U.S.
Department of Housing and Urban Development; and
WHEREAS, an agreement as substantially set forth in Exhibit
A to this resolution has been drafted and approved by the
federal government and the City Attorney's office for compliance
with program goals and state law; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Board of Directors of the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas, to participate in this endeavor.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to
execute all documents necessary to implement a Memorandum of
Agreement between the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban
Development, the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, City of North
Little Rock, Arkansas, and Pulaski County, Arkansas, to create
and designate a Pulaski County Enterprise Community Alliance.
