RESOLUTION NO. 9,528
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A MANAGEMENT
CONTRACT FOR PHASE II OF THE
LANDFILL EXPANSION.
WHEREAS, this is an engineering services contract for
quality assurance during construction of Phase II of the Solid
Waste Facility; and
WHEREAS, this project will include construction of Cell 2
and revisions to the leachate, stormwater and compost drainage
systems; and
WHEREAS, these engineering services will ensure that
construction conforms to the specifications as well as all
applicable federal and state regulations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager.is authorized to enter into a
management contract with Garver + Garver in an amount not to
exceed $290,000 for construction of the Landfill Expansion,
Phase II.
SECTION 2. Funding for this project will be from the sale
of solid waste bonds.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
