A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE LIST OF
STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS
UTILIZING SURPLUS FUNDS APPROPRIATED
BY ORDINANCE NO. 16,894 (MAY 16,
1995.
WHEREAS, two public hearings were held to receive input on
desired projects; and
WHEREAS, street projects were selected based on service to
the neighborhood (bus routes, parks), Safety
(Open ditches,
narrow pavements), estimated costs of $100,00 to $250,000 and
geographical dispersion.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD
OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized
to approve the
list of street improvement projects utilizing surplus funds in
the amount of $643,500 appropriated by Ordinance
No. 16,894 (May
16, 1995).
SECTION 2. The 1995 Street Project descriptions are as
follows:
1. Apple Blossom Subdivision
$117,600
2. 20th St.: W. Lewis to Washington
$174,000
3. Ohio St.: Mississippi to Watt Street
$159,400
4. Eva Lane and Caylor Lane Drainage
$ 55,000
5. Loyola & Chenal Traffic Signal
$ 71,900
6. Birchwood Street
$ 65,600
