WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock owns Lot 8, Block 12, Fletcher and Clark Addition to the.City of Little Rock; and WHEREAS, the City estimates the market value of Lot 8 to be approximately Three Thousand Dollars ($3,000.00); and WHEREAS, said Lot 8 is located adjacent to property owned by the Little Rock Fraternal Order of Police Lodge No. 17 ("FOP°) at 1700 East Second Street; and WHEREAS, in partial consideration of the settlement of the labor contract between the City and the FOP, the Little Rock Board of. Directors hereby approves the conveyance of Lot 8 to the FOP, and WHEREAS, the Board of Directors has determined that the property should be conveyed to the FOP. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. The Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a warranty deed in a form acceptable to the City Attorney, conveying Lot 8, Block 12, Fletcher and Clark Addition, to the Little Rock Fraternal Order of Police Lodge No. 17. '' 4J v a -3 E c. 0 U N +-) w. r Pq 0 0 P n u 573 SPECIAL WARRANTY DEED KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS that the City of Little Rock, Grantor, duly authorized by a resolution of its Board of Directors, for the sum of Ten Dollars ($10) and other valuable consideration, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, does hereby grant, bargain, sell and convey unto the Little Rock Fraternal Order of Police Lodge No. 17, Grantor's all of its right, title and interest in and to the following described lands in Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas: Lot 8, Block B, Fletcher and Clark Addition to the City of Little Rock TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same unto Grantee and unto its successors and assigns forever, with all appurtenances thereunto belonging. Grantor hereby covenants with Grantee, subject to the above limitations, that it will forever warrant and defend the title to said real property against all claims and encumbrances done or suffered by it subsequent to being acquired by the Grantor, without the consent of Grantee, but against none other.
