SOLUTION NO. 9,505 •
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING UNDERWRITERS FOR THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS WASTE DISPOSAL REVENUE
BONDS, SERIES 1995 ( "THE BONDS "); AND PROVIDING FOR
OTHER MATTERS IN CONNECTION WITH THE ISSUANCE OF
THE BONDS.
WHEREAS, in Resolution Number 9,420 the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas appointed bond counsel for the Bonds; and
WHEREAS, in Resolution Number 9,419 the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas appointed a financial advisor for the Bonds; and
WHEREAS, a professional services selection committee has evaluated the proposals received
to underwrite the bonds and has recommended the firm of T. J. Raney/Morgan Keegan to serve as
underwriters for the bonds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into an agreement with the firm of
T. J. Raney/Morgan Keegan to serve as underwriters for the bonds.
SECTION 2. The City Treasurer, Bond Counsel and Financial Advisor are hereby
authorized to prepare and submit such documentation as may be required to accomplish the sale of
the bonds to the underwriters. The City Treasurer is further authorized to take such other actions
as are, in his judgement, necessary or appropriate in order to provide for the sale of the bonds by
the underwriters, subject to final approval by the Board of Directors.
