A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
ALLOCATE $53,000 FROM THE 1988 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT
BOND FUND FOR REPAIRS AND EQUIPMENT AT THE WAR
MEMORIAL FITNESS CENTER; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
WHEREAS, the 1988 Capital Improvement Bond Issue provided funds for parks
and recreation improvements, including the construction of the War Memorial Fitness
Center and pool; and
WHEREAS, funds allocated for parks and recreation improvements from the 1988
Capital Improvement Bond Issue remain on hand, and the War Memorial Fitness
Center requires repairs to its heating and air conditioning system, as well as other
repairs, improvements and equipment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to allocate $53,000 from the 1988
Capital Improvement Bond Fund, parks and recreation funds, for equipment, repairs
and improvements to the War Memorial Fitness Center.
